As classic as a T-Bird! GREASE – the All-American musical – is coming to Montville Township High School March 3rd, 4th & 5th at 7:30pm and March 6th at 2:00pm.

GREASE is the story of Rydell High's senior class of 1959.

Bring family and friends to MTHS this March, and meet the duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and the gum-snapping, bouffant coiffed "Pink Ladies," in this rollicking musical that evokes the bobby-sox-and-pedal-pushers look and sound of the 1950s.

“It’s spectacular. It’s fun. It’s high energy. Come see the show.” said Joe Amoroso. The Sophomore actor portrays Danny Zuko.

Inspired by the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley, GREASE is the Broadway show that continues to inspire audiences to tap their toes all through the performance and beyond.

“GREASE really shows you what it’s like to be a teenager,” explained Santina DiBenedetto. The senior, who plays Rizzo added: “It’s a fun way to show how teenagers think, and how they feel on a daily basis.”

“It’s an amazing production. Everyone should come see GREASE.” agreed senior Adyna Silverberg, who plays Sandy Dumbrowski.

The cast of GREASE, MTHS Spring 2022 musical

The high energy and athletically choreographed song and dance numbers will be performed by a cast of nearly 30 members of the MTHS Theatre Company. Broadway classics like: "Summer Nights," “We Go Together,” "Greased Lightnin'," "It's Raining on Prom Night," and "Alone at the Drive-In Movie" serve as the soundtrack for this classic love story between "greaser" Danny Zuko and “new girl” Sandy Dumbrowski, as the two try to relive the high romance of their summer break.

“GREASE – is the word,” sophomore Max Iaci said. Iaci, who plays Kenickie wants everyone to: “Come see it, you will enjoy it.”
