Forty members of the Montville Township Public Schools’ faculty, administration and staff were honored in a virtual announcement on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Together the educators, who were recognized for their Years of Service, have dedicated a combined 770 years as representatives of the district’s motto to: “Educate. Inspire. Empower.”

Superintendent Dr. Rene Rovtar made the announcement virtually at the start of the 2020-2021 academic year. The district's first day for all staff was held in all seven of the district's educational buildings, as well as the Montville Township Board of Education offices.

Rather than gather in the Montville Township High School auditorium, all faculty and staff reported to their classrooms or offices in the district buildings where they work on a regular basis. From there they met virtually through a district-wide Zoom.

“You are truly what makes a difference for all of the schools in Montville,” Rovtar said. “The work that you do is wonderful. And the length of time – your careers – that you have committed to our students is fantastic. We are so grateful to all of you.”
