The school building will become the starting point for learning, which in incremental steps, will extend to community , county, state, country, and the world. Learning will become a manifestation of personal goals and desires. Assessment of learning will be demonstrated through performance and documented real life experiences. Teachers will become facilitators of learning. Faculty will facilitate learning through experimentation, performance assessments, and mentoring. The measurement of student learning will not be a manifestation of subjective grade performance that assesses learning , and thereby intelligence as a measurement of time, but rather assesses learning through substantive performance.

Hilldale Student Council asks Community to Participate in Homeless Solutions’ A NIGHT IN THE COLD On Saturday, December 4, the Hilldale Student Council is asking the Community, their friends, and their families to participate in Homeless Solutions’ to raise crucial funds and awareness for the homeless families and individuals in our community.

On Saturday, December 4, the Hilldale Student Council is asking the Community, their friends, and their families to join the Hilldale team and participate in Homeless Solutions’ A NIGHT IN THE COLD to raise crucial funds and awareness for homeless families and individuals in Morris County. Hilldale's goal is to raise $1,000. During A NIGHT IN THE COLD participants will brave the elements by sleeping outside for one night. Where and how you sleep is up to you! You can sleep in places like a tent, sleeping bag, or your car (with the car off), which are some of the ways street homeless do when they are without shelter. Others may opt for their porch, garage floor, or church/school parking lot. You can participate alone or in socially-distanced groups. It’s open to everyone of all ages - families, individuals, faith and school groups, sports teams, the scouts, and businesses! Everyone can join the Hilldale team or create a team of their own. The important thing is to help provide crucial funds for the homeless.
